At Punta Cana there is GF bread and GF pancakes in the morning. Chefs walk celiac guests through the buffet; a Cancún guest noted serving utensils were never changed.

🍽️ On-site restaurants

Mostly buffet restaurants where a chef points out safe dishes and makes GF pasta, pizza or desserts on request. A dedicated fryer was reported at Punta Cana but not at Bali. The Cancún steakhouse was not knowledgeable.

What public traveller reports say

Summarized in our own words from public sources we read (October 2026). Each point is one or a few travellers' experience, not a statistic.

positive · breakfast and restaurants
A symptomatic celiac who chooses Club Med partly for this (Punta Cana): the chef walks you around the buffet, fries come from a dedicated fryer, GF pasta and pizza on demand, GF pastries, and GF bread and pancakes in the morning.
mixed · breakfast and restaurants
A mother and celiac daughter at Club Med Cancún (March 2024) found a chef at every buffet meal who knew about fryers and cross-contamination and brought GF tamari; no reactions. The Estancia steakhouse server knew nothing about gluten and menus were unmarked.
positive · breakfast and restaurants
At Club Med Bali, two celiacs said the head chef toured every station, flagged higher-risk dishes, made special GF desserts (macarons, brownies) and, with notice, GF pasta, with GF soy sauce on request. No dedicated fryer; neither got sick.
